Plays

Naked Will

A retelling of Oscar Wilde’s essay The Portrait of W.H., wherein two men argue over the identity of the bi-sexual romantic triangle that seems to take place within Shakespeare’s Sonnets and the love story is brought to life.

Burning Habits

An 8 play mini-series about Dead Lesbian Nuns haunting the East Village of the 1990s. The series played for years at various locations around Manhattan and in London. The sequel The Ballad of Little Girl Jesus (4 plays) was also workshopped but never brought to full production.

The Tragic and Horrible Life of the Singing Nun

Multiple award winning tragic-comedy about the woman who sang the Grammy Award winning hit Dominique-nique-nique. The play tells the story of a lesbian nun who finds herself as a singer and a lesbian and then is destroyed by her addiction to both booze and the Catholic Church.

The Tragic and Horrible Life of the Singing Nun

MUSICAL

Same as above but with music and lyrics by Andy Monroe.

Bargains and Blood

Comedy about the cut throat world of home shopping networks and a charismatic, holy woman who takes the genre by storm. Blood, guts, bargains and fun!

From the Hip

A camp comedy about conjoined twin lounge singers Sassy and Sissy Sheraton. They share a liver, a rectum and a studio apartment! Irreverent and slightly offensive. With songs by Maggie Moore.

In addition to the already produced full length plays above there are three works that have only had one workshop (no premiere productions) and are available for further development:

Hunchback Without a Bell

Full length musical with music and lyrics by Maggie Moore.

Ballad of Little Girl Jesus

Four play series, the sequel to Burning Habits. This grand quignol comedy takes the characters through Armageddon.

Madame Fury

Camp horror play with dance about bulimic cannibalistic ballerinas.
